Understanding that catering is more than just food, the goal of amici catering is to provide meals that are made with fresh quality ingredients, which taste delicious, and are hassle-free.
Founded in 2007, amici catering is a joint venture from established and well respected restaurateurs, Scott and Lori Harlig. The owners have over 30 years in the hospitality industry, working with prestigious companies such as Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, Ed Debevics (Beverly Hills), Don and Charlies’ (Scottsdale), Tucchetti (Phoenix), Westcor (Boulders Resort); and Restaurants Unlimited Inc. (Palisades /Seattle). The team’s newest venture concentrates their experience on providing corporate clients with delicious food and great customer service.
Scott Harlig brings 27 years experience to the company. He is a third generation restaurateur, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Administration from Cal Poly Pomona. The past 19 years have provided operational experience with Chicago-based Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, which includes 13 years as general manager/managing partner and owner of Tucchetti Restaurant in Phoenix. Previous management experiences with the Disneyland Hotel, Grace Restaurant Group and Cheesecake Factory round out a successful career in the hospitality business.
Lori Harlig has 27 years of experience in the restaurant industry, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant Administration from Cal Poly Pomona. With more than 20 years in management, her restaurant and catering experiences include premier venues such as Palisades, Seattle, Washington; The Boulders Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona ; and Velvet Turtle dinner houses, Southern California. She now brings her strong background in event planning and catering to amici catering.
